About Us
At ControlSage, we help fast-growing companies turn compliance from a bottleneck into a competitive advantage. Our managed compliance platform combines AI-powered automation with hands-on expert guidance to help startups and scaleups achieve and maintain SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS, CMMC, and other critical certifications without slowing down engineering.
Our team includes security engineers, compliance experts, and former auditors who care about solving real problems for real businesses. Whether you're mapping controls, closing an audit, or building a governance program from scratch, your work here directly determines whether our customers can close their next enterprise deal.
The Role
We're looking for a Talent Partner to own full-cycle recruiting as we scale our team. You'll partner directly with hiring managers across Engineering, Sales, and Compliance to build hiring plans, source exceptional candidates, and create a recruiting experience that reflects who we are. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for someone who wants to shape the team, not just fill seats.

Own full-cycle recruiting for roles across Engineering, Sales, Compliance, and G&A
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, leveling, and hiring plans
Source active and passive candidates through outbound, referrals, and creative sourcing channels
Build and maintain a strong pipeline for current and future hiring needs
Design and refine interview processes and scorecards to ensure consistent, fair evaluation
Manage candidate experience from first touch through offer and onboarding
Track and report on hiring metrics: time-to-fill, pipeline conversion, and source effectiveness
Champion diversity and inclusion in sourcing and hiring practices
Support employer branding efforts to strengthen our presence in the talent market
Requirements
3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally at a fast-growing startup
Proven track record hiring across technical and non-technical roles
Strong sourcing skills across LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other channels
Excellent communication skills — you can sell a candidate on our mission and represent the company well
Comfortable managing multiple open roles and stakeholders simultaneously
Data-driven approach to recruiting, with comfort tracking and reporting on metrics
Experience with an ATS (Greenhouse, Lever, or similar)
Willingness and curiosity to use modern AI tools to build simpler, faster ways to track and report data.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience recruiting for a compliance, security, or B2B SaaS company
Experience building recruiting processes from scratch at an early-stage startup
Familiarity with employer branding and recruitment marketing
